ID/Password 정책 (ID/Password policy)

1. ID 생성 정책 및 주의사항

  • 1인 1계정 생성 가능하며 계정생성 후 변경 불가
    • 특히 대학 E-MAIL 계정과 동일하게 사용되어 업무나 학술 활동에 많이 활용 되므로, 영문 이름이나 이니셜을 간단하고 명료하게 조합하여 사용하는 것을 권장 (ex. 홍길동 : kdhong, hongkd 등)
  • ID는 6~12자, 영문소문자 및 숫자만 가능

2. 계정 유효기간

  • 졸업생, 명예교수, 정년퇴직 교직원 : 영구계정 제공
  • 퇴사(퇴교) 시 해당일로부터 3개월 유지 후 계정 자동 삭제
  • 퇴사(퇴교) 후 3개월 이내 재 발령 시 기존계정 자동연계 처리(신규 생성 필요 없음)

3. PASSWORD 생성 규칙

  • 8자 이상 20자 이내로 생성
  • 영문자, 숫자는 반드시 포함(특수문자 사용 시 $,\, ,’,!,+,&는 사용불가)
  • PASSWORD는 6개월마다 갱신 필수

4. PASSWORD 변경/초기화/잠김해제

  • 통합로그인 페이지(https://login.postech.ac.kr) -> ‘비밀번호 변경’ 클릭 후 이용 (변경/초기화/잠김해제 가능)

 

1. ID generation policy and precautions

  • One account per person can be created and cannot be changed after account creation
    • In particular, it is recommended to use a simple and clear combination of English names or initials as it is used in the same way as the university’s E-MAIL account and is used for business and academic activities (ex. Kil-dong Hong: kdhong, hongkd, etc.)
  • ID is 6-12 characters, only lowercase letters and numbers

2. Account validity period

  • Graduates, emeritus professors, retired faculty members: Permanent account provided
  • When leaving (withdrawal), the account is automatically deleted after maintaining 3 months from the date
  • Automatic linkage of existing accounts when reissued within 3 months after resignation or withdrawal (no need to create new ones)

3. PASSWORD generation rules

  • Created with at least 8 characters and less than 20 characters
  • English letters and numbers must be included ($,\, ,’,!,+,& cannot be used when using special characters)
  • Password must be renewed every 6 months

4. Password change/recovery/unlock

  • Integrated login page (https://login.postech.ac.kr) -> Click’Change Password’ and use (Change password / Password Recovery / Account Lock Release)
